At the dinner table
Brad was looking a bit on the scruffy side.
"You should grow a beard."
"What? I thought you didn't like it. That's why I keep shaving it off."
"Nah."
"It would be uneven."
"It would fill in after a while. It would make your chin look more defined."
... pause ...
... glare ...
"Lumpybutt!"
...
"If there's one thing I've always loved about you, it's your maturity."

Beards are good.
People around me are leaving one ever since I let one grow.

Wait. I don't understand that sentence, Wil.
Not everyone looks good with a beard (me, for example) but Wil does and I bet Brad would.

This didn't come about as a result of my recent and ongoing experiment with a goatee, did it?
I'm not so sure about a bearded Brad. He needs to grow his hair out first or it'd look odd. Yeah. Ask him to grow his hair out first. Like Fabio-long.

HAHAHA! Fabio-long hair on Brad.
No, this had nothing to do with your goatee. It just popped into my head for no apparent reason.

Ah, the challenges of idiom & expression.
I got one.
People 'round me now getting one too.
On the topic of Fabio, a Dutch commercial starring Holland's most well-known pianist, Jan Vayne -- who sports big, long hair.

And more dutchness:

Too. Much. Dutchness.
Also, Fabio looks ridiculous with Fabio-long hair. My grandmother was looking a a picture of Fabio one time and said, "His eyes are too close together; he looks like a dumb horse."
Excuse me. I must now go photoshop Fabio's hair onto Wil's head.

I'd like to see that.

I'd like to see it too. I never got around to doing it.
