Just found a new favorite website today: Minneapolis fucking rocks, which led me to find some videos by my new boyfriend (as I like to call him), Andrew Bird.

This video is so odd, I'm not sure what to say about it. But Andrew Bird's music is stunning. It really appeals to the part of me that wishes I'd never quit those violin lessons.

I got to see him in concert as an anniversary present a few months ago. I thought it was funny that my husband got me tickets to go see my boyfriend.
Anyway, it was an amazing show - it's mind-boggling to see him in person, switching so fast between violin, guitar, glockenspiel and whistling, and singing the whole time. He has that spinning gramophone onstage, too.

Oh also, I think that flag drama must have happened before I was aware of the Awesomeness of Jane, because it was new to me just now (although I do remember seeing the one photo on Pliv). I've missed out on so much. *sniff*

And by "awesomeness" I can only assume you really mean "extreme silliness." I wasn't silly prior to knowing Wil, of course.
